About Us
About me. I am Filipino, with 6 years work experience: 2 years AFH and 4 years private one on one care. Can speak, write and understand English.
Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Diabetes, catheter care, hoyer lift, wheelchair, and gait belt assist, Hospice and end of life care. Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): basic self-care tasks that individuals perform on a daily basis to maintain their independence and well-being.
HCA and CNA license current and updated. Certification in Developmental Disability Specialty Training. CPR/First Aid. Food Handlers. COVID and Flu vaccinated.
Don’t smoke but no problem with smokers and pets.
I grew up with aunts, uncle and lola around. Lola (grandma in Tagalog) took care of me when I was a kid. A year before she passed I was able to take care of her and be with her one more time even for a little while. But that short period of time was so precious to me. She loved me since I was born and she loved me more to her last breath. Because of my Lola’s love, taking care of elders as my job is like taking care of my own grandparents and parents.
